Today’s guest is one of those mamas who doesn’t quite known just how amazing and resilient she is. Kady Leiber is a mom of two beautiful girls under ten. who has managed to travel around the globe, but more importantly, she is a mom who has had to endure a child with stage 4 brain cancer at 17 months old. This is one of those fears all of us moms can say we all share, but rarely speak about. Let’s be honest childhood cancer is such a horrendous thought, many of us avoid the very words. But Kady is here to tell us childhood cancer can teach you how to live I the moment as if it were your last, and have gratitude for even the seemingly smallest of things. 

 Kady has had to go through what no mama wishes upon a child, rounds of chemotherapy for her daughter Ava, isolating and extensive hospital stays and post cancer side effects. Although cancer is something they live with daily, she also makes the most out of each day and takes her children on constant adventures.

Admitting that her children aren’t the best of sleepers. Kady has camped solo with her girls, to prove our limitations are just in our mind. She splits her time between the USA and Switzerland and is passionate about travel , adventure and creativity and making the most out of life, regardless of your situation. 

 

Today she is going to share about traveling with kids, the uncertainty and grief of childhood cancer, living during a pandemic with a “high risk” Child and how important it is to live life to the limits every, single day.
